Hi! My name is Andrea, and I am the 2025 Audiology Graduate at Demant. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Audiologopedics from the University of Copenhagen, where I first discovered my interest in audiological rehabilitation and hearing technology. This interest led me to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Audiology at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense.
I chose the Demant Graduate Programme because it offers a rare chance to explore the audiology field from a broad and interdisciplinary perspective, supporting both professional and personal growth. The programme provides many opportunities: from rotating across different business areas and applying my audiology degree in diverse ways, to building a strong network across the organization.
My first rotation is in Global Marketing in Hearing Aid Audiology. My first task is to be part of a team conducting studies to evaluate the performance of our products. I will also gain hands-on experience with electrophysiological measurements I haven't worked with before, which will broaden my practical experience. It's exciting to contribute to the processes behind products that will eventually make a global impact in hearing care.
In my free time, I enjoy being creative (knitting and sewing), staying active, and spending time with my boyfriend, friends, and family.
