Hello! My name is Edvin, and I am the Quality Engineering Graduate at Demant. I am raised in Sweden’s most wonderful city Linköping and I moved down to Lund in 2020 to get my M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Lund University. During my studies a wide range of subjects sparked my interest, but I decided to specialize in signal processing, image analysis and AI.
When graduation was approaching my eyes turned south for opportunities, where I found the graduate program at Demant. Since I have many interests and sometimes struggle to choose a single path, the program was a perfect fit, offering rotations in multiple teams over two years. This year the Quality track focuses on automation and increasing efficiency utilizing AI tools, which is something that I find especially interesting.
So far working at Demant has been an amazing journey, and while Sweden and Denmark are in many ways very similar, every week provides a new small culture shock. My first rotation has been in the InMarket Product Support team, where I’ve begun exploring how we can leverage AI to work more efficiently.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, staying active through workouts, or dedicating my time and money to beer brewing. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to know more about me, the graduate program or homebrewing!
