Eskil Volberg

Education: M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Finance, Copenhagen Business School

Start in Demant: September 2023

Hi all, my name is Eskil and I am, together with Giulia, the ComEx-graduate of the 2023 batch. I grew up in Norway and moved to Canada to study for an International Baccalaureate in 2015. After a gap year back home in Norway, I moved to Denmark in 2018, where I first pursued a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Sociology, and then an M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Finance, both at Copenhagen Business School.

Upon finalizing my studies, the Demant Graduate Programme caught my attention because it ticked of a lot of the boxes that was important to me when pursuing my first post-graduation position. A strong culture, combined with ambitious colleagues and, perhaps most importantly, working with a product that truly matters to people, was a strong motivation. Being in the Commercial Excellence-track, I work together with my colleagues to find better solutions that ultimately makes our commercial organization stronger. We act as an in-house-consultancy, with projects on both global and local level, focusing particularly on sales, marketing, service, pricing, and training processes.

When I am not at work, I (unfortunately) support Manchester United, and probably spend too much time watching football, cycling or any other kind of sport. As a Norwegian, I am a big fan of skiing, and while pursuing that hobby in Denmark is difficult, I like to go for a run every now and then to be ready for the Norwegian skiing season. I also really like to cook, and I am eagerly trying to make my way around the Copenhagen food scene.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the ComEx-track, or the Graduate Programme in general.
