Start in Demant: 2025

Hello, my name is Francesca and I am the 2025 Business Graduate in Commercial Excellence at Demant.

I hold a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology from Bocconi University in Milan. What drew me to Demant was the chance to be part of a medtech company where innovation happens every day and makes a real difference in people’s lives. I also found it both challenging and inspiring to join a company with the ambition to become market leader in an industry dominated by two global competitors, especially in today’s politically unstable environment. For me, the Graduate Programme offered the perfect opportunity to explore how success can be achieved on a truly global scale in an industry I love.

Although I only started a month ago, I already see the unique exposure that comes with being a Graduate, both in terms of building a network across the organization and having the support of a strong group of fellow Graduates to rely on. In my first rotation, I am part of the Sales Excellence team, contributing to the Annual Sales Planning process. This work is particularly exciting, as this process is key to understanding how we can successfully achieve our strategic priorities and reach our sales targets. On the other side, from February, I will begin a project with the Italian affiliate, led by a Graduate from two years ago: something that I find very motivating, as it shows the impact and career opportunities the programme can open up.

Beyond work, I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s doing sports (always on the lookout for Denmark’s “legendary” mountains), enjoying live concerts, or dancing in a salsa studio.
