Jennie Walfridson

Education: MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Lund University

Start in Demant: 2020

Hi, I am Jennie, and I am an engineering graduate at Demant. In June 2020, I graduated from LTH, Lund University, with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering where I specialized within product development. Further, I spent two terms on exchange studies at University of Waterloo in Canada.

I am grateful being part of Demant’s graduate programme, having the opportunity working at an innovative company that is helping people to improve their life quality. My first rotation is taking place in the product quality department at Oticon, where I am involved with explorative tests, learning about all different products, supporting with small tasks, and running my own project related to requirements for green products. The company and my team have both been very welcoming, and so far, there is a perfect mixture between flexibility and responsibility in my daily work.

I am originally from the south of Sweden, just moved “all the way” to Copenhagen, and I have a great passion for skiing. On my spare time I spend a lot of time with family and friends, running or cycling, or planning for upcoming dinners, cheese and wine evenings or ski trips.

    Meet Jennie at the end of her graduate programme journey
    Jennie is one of our Engineering Graduates and she comes from Sweden. She studied Mechanical Engineering at Lund University, with a Master in Product development. After she finished her studies in June 2020, she began the Graduate Programme at Demant in September 2020.
