My name is Michael Scheel and I am a Global Operations Graduate at Demant. I graduated from Aalborg University in June 2021 with a MSc in Management Engineering and specialization in Operations & Supply Chain Management.
I decided to join Demant and the Graduate Programme because it fits well with my interests and professional ambitions. It motivates me to be part of an innovative company that is improving the quality of life for many people worldwide. Moreover, Demant is a global company which opens a broad range of international opportunities. Further, I enjoy challenging myself and continuously learn which is something the Demant Graduate Programme offers and support.
My first rotation was at the production site in Ballerup DK, where I worked in the Global Amplifier department. I was part of a project group that is focusing on how to seamlessly transfer products to other production sites. Being part of this project gave me a high variety of experience, as there are many aspects which needs to be analyzed and approved before products can be transferred. My colleagues at Demant have given me a very warm welcoming and responsibility in the projects I am working with.
Outside the office, I enjoy playing a game of tennis when the Danish weather allows it and socialize with friends at dinner parties.
