Hi, my name is Mille, and I am an IT Graduate at Demant.
A curiosity about how businesses operate in the global world we live in led me to pursue a BSc in Global Business Informatics. During my studies, I learned how technology supports business - from designing systems and understanding how data moves through organizations, to seeing how digital solutions can create real value. I also explored governance, strategy, and processes to understand how everything connects in a business context. Along the way, I became particularly interested by the role of data in decision-making and how it can help organizations work smarter. This interest motivated me to continue with an MSc in Digital Innovation and Management, specializing in big data, which gave me a deeper understanding of how to leverage data and technology to support innovation and organizational growth.
When I came across the Demant Graduate Program, it felt like the perfect next step. The program offers the chance to rotate across different areas of the business, providing space to explore, learn, and discover where I want to take my career. I was also drawn to the strong graduate community, where we support and inspire one another. And, of course, the opportunity to work with talented and passionate colleagues across a global organization makes Demant an exciting and meaningful place to start my career.
Currently, I am in my first rotation in the HR IT department, where I am working on a project to standardize and optimize permission roles in our core HR system, SuccessFactors. This has given me hands-on experience in the SAP world - which was new to me - while also exploring how HR processes and policies shape IT configurations. At the same time, I’m working with ServiceNow, our new HR service platform, where I’ve been configuring HR services and seeing how a system like this is introduced and adopted across a large organization. It’s a fast-paced and exciting environment, with plenty of learning opportunities, and it’s been incredibly rewarding so far - made even better by the warm welcome and trust from my colleagues.
