Xiaobo Zhang

My name is Xiaobo. I am one of the finance graduates in Demant this year. I graduated from Aarhus University with a Master’s degree in Economics. After my master study, I moved to Copenhagen to continue my life on the other side of Denmark.

It is a great honor and pleasure to be part of the graduate programme of Demant. As a global company, Demant offers a very friendly working environment especially to someone like me who didn't grow up in Denmark. And for me personally, being part of a leading hearing-aids company gives me the achievement of witnessing how fast our technology grows and how it changes people's lives. There are different events and training courses held for graduates. We get to know the company and each other and then get various resources for professional training.

As a finance graduate, I will have four rotations within Group Finance and one of them will be abroad. Currently I am starting my first rotation in Group Financial Controlling where I contribute to group closing and consolidation process, investor relationships and so on. Later I will also rotate to other teams and explore as much as possible. Rotations in different teams give me the opportunity to experience and learn as much as possible at the start of my career.
