Interacoustics has released their new Equinox Evo & Touch Keyboard: A clinical PC-based audiometer that will enhance test flows and improve hearing testing of children.

Interacoustics produced its first audiometer in 1969, and since then audiometry has been a major part of their global business.

The new audiometer has been made to enhance the experience for audiologists. The Touch Keyboard can be used wirelessly, which is a great advantage when testing young children.

“This product improves the testing situation for both the audiologist and the child, as the workflow becomes easier. Therefore, it is not always necessary to have two testers present to keep the child engaged, which is otherwise often considered good practice when testing children,” said Villads Thomsen, CEO and President of Interacoustics.

From simple to advanced tests
Equinox Evo offers all the traditional hearing tests, such as speech and tone audiometry, as well as more advanced tests, including the Audible Contrast Threshold (ACT™) test.

Interacoustics has launched the product in Europe and the US, and the rest of the world will follow once registrations are in place. Learn more about Equinox Evo & Touch Keyboard in this video:
