Sign up for the Audio Explorers engineering case competition before 31 April 2026 and show us what you can do in electrical, mechanical, and/or software engineering. Around 20 winners across all cases get to go with us to Toronto from 13-18 August 2026. All expenses covered.

The winning teams will be equipped with a GPS and a small Sound Activity Meter (SAM) to examine sound levels in Toronto’s urban environment.

A packed schedule awaits the winning teams. You will connect with leading sound & acoustics researchers, see a high-tech company from the inside and have daily deep dives with R&D colleagues from Demant.

Since the Audio Explorers beginning the 20-30 top engineering talents across Danish Universities has travelled with the Audio Explorers expedition.

In 2025, the Audio Explorers expedition had a packed schedule. Their six days of activities included students presenting their case solutions with a skyline view over Manhattan, and noise data collection competitions across New York, and engineering games in Central Park and Broadway.
