Oticon expands hearing aid portfolio with two new product families
Oticon has expanded its hearing aid portfolio with the introduction of two new product families, strengthening its offering across different life stages and user preferences. The additions include Oticon Play SI™, a new paediatric family, and Oticon Verit™, which broadens Oticon’s premium portfolio for users who prefer disposable battery solutions.
The new families are built on Oticon’s latest technology platform, Sirius, combining second‑generation AI‑based sound processing with enhanced connectivity to support everyday listening situations.
Supporting children’s development through improved access to sound
Oticon Play SI is a new paediatric hearing aid family designed to support children’s development by helping them access clearer and more natural sound in everyday environments such as classrooms and playgrounds.
The family uses second‑generation AI‑powered sound processing that adapts in real time to changing listening conditions. By improving access to speech in complex sound environments, the solution is intended to support language development, learning and social interaction throughout childhood and adolescence.
Oticon Play SI is compatible with Oticon EduMic, a remote microphone system that allows a teacher’s voice to be streamed directly to the hearing aids. This supports speech understanding in educational settings where distance and background noise can otherwise make listening difficult.
The family is available in different styles to accommodate a wide range of ages, from young children to teenagers, and offers 12 colour options, plus seven coloured hook options to support comfort and individual expression.
Broadening choice within Oticon’s premium portfolio
Oticon has also introduced Oticon Verit, which expands the brand’s premium hearing aid portfolio. The family addresses the continued demand for disposable zinc‑air battery solutions, which remain an important option for some hearing aid users.
Oticon Verit combines this preference with advanced audiology and connectivity and is available in three styles to support different fitting needs. The solution uses AI‑based sound processing to adapt continuously to changing listening environments and manage sudden or disruptive sounds in everyday situations.
Strengthening Oticon’s offering within Demant
With the introduction of Oticon Play SI and Oticon Verit, Oticon continues to strengthen and diversify its hearing aid portfolio within Demant. Together, the two product families support a wide range of users and listening needs, reflecting Demant’s focus on providing differentiated hearing care solutions that help people communicate, learn and engage in everyday life.
